One of my all time favourites. I've returned to Adventure Time again and again over my life, and for good reason, as its setting and characters are not only entertaining, but the show tackles difficult concepts in a gentle but emotionally mature way. I'm grateful to have grown up watching this, and would recommend it to everyone regardless of stage of life.

Such a fun movie, definitely deserves it status as a cult classic (I think? it at least feels like it is among gay women). It's of its time in the best way possible, the humour and visuals are very 2000s but in a way that holds up.

I love how watching this show kind of feels like solving a puzzle. Highly engaging storyline, and an interesting commentary on "work-life balance" and capitalism (with the obvious and inevitable caveat it is a show funded by Apple). Hopefully it continues to explore these themes as the story progresses rather than shifting to focus on interpersonal drama. I found Pillar of Garbage's video analysis of the series (on YouTube) intriguing.

My favourite of the Studio Ghibli films I've watched. The animation is amazing (as you might expect), and I really like the atmosphere of the world in this movie.

This movie is a genuinely engaging commentary on personalities among corporate american men, that unfortunately got coopted. It's one of those pieces of media where there's always more to say about it, a new lens for analysis. It's also interesting to compare how the differences to the book can change the messages, whether they were creative choices or necessary because of the different medium. Movie Bateman is much more sanitised than his book counterpart, though they are both (frighteningly) idolised by those their characters criticise, hearing some of Bale's anecdotes.
